PRCY is used to stake, run master nodes, and mine PoA blocks. In PoA, the right to generate new blocks is granted to nodes that have proven that they have the right to do so.

The staking wallet (currently desktop only) must be running, connected to the internet, fully synced with the blockchain, and unlocked to activate staking. The PRCY master node system is modeled after the PIVX master node system. This has many benefits, including preventing 51% of attacks unless the proof-of-stake and master node layers are compromised at the same time.
