The outbreak of COVID-19 has underlined the drawbacks of the current healthcare infrastructure, which includes the problems of a timely and coordinated response. Some blame lies in inadequate data control and inadequate access to testing—the problems of the COVID-19 outbreak have been long-standing in healthcare systems worldwide. BioPassport introduced built-in decentralized personal health records (DPHR) to solve the issues. The BioPassport telehealth platform also works as a mobile application with numerous features and functions. BioPassport comes combined with COVID-19 test kits, atopy, and lung cancer, allowing users to participate in remote health monitoring on a model based on subscription. The platform is made around DID (decentralized identity) technology for helping users create their DPHR, permitting accessible, secure, and consistent data management. The layout of the platform accepts user incentives into account.
