Curecoin aims to use an automated distribution system to reward miners who contribute computational power to select DCN(s). That seeks to offer a more environmentally efficient way to secure the blockchain.
The native token of the Curecoin is called $CURE.The $CURE token's theoretical use cases are limited. Still, the token can be used for general exchange as well as exchange for goods or services. Also, users of Curecoin support citizen scientists and commercial operators of computer systems. In turn, this support contributes to the global research network. In simpler words, Coincure is a token that aims to offer value to the miners while also outsourcing the computing power to researchers and organizations who need it. And it uses a combination of PoW and PoS to secure the blockchain.

Curecoin was launched in May 2014.Josh Smith, the founder and developer of the Curecoin project, came up with the concept in 2013. In addition, Max Sanchez is a senior developer who helped develop the project. They are also associated with Jeff Moreland, a developer and a community leader.
