As mentioned in the whitepaper, Gamerse is the new home of the NFT gaming community. In other words, Gamerse seeks to provide an engaging way to socialize while enjoying favorite NFTs. Groups, live feed, direct messaging, NFT self-promotion, user posting, NFT drop watchlist, new purchases, and other social media features are available on Gamerse. Every participant gets their own Discover feed, which allows them to find various NFTs and interesting people. Gamerse was thus created to make trading with friends and engaging in the NFT market enjoyable.
Users can establish groups/parties and engage in new levels of social engagement while playing their favorite games. LFG stands for "Looking for Group" and is commonly used in gaming-related chat forums and other online communities to signal users or subscribers to join an already formed group. The NFT gaming ecology is incredibly diverse, and it is growing all the time. NFT gamers require a platform that allows them to connect and form groups based on the game or games they play.
Additionally, the Gamerse social Marketplace is a dedicated NFT marketplace where users can find all available NFTs. The platform wants to bring all of the top NFT gaming marketplaces together on one social platform and make cross-chain compatibility a reality. Cross-platform and cross-chain shopping NFTs from all favorite platforms are sold in one location, allowing users to find the most popular NFTs.
Gamerse is powered by LFG, the platform's cryptographic token. On the Binance Smart Chain, the LFG token is deployed as BEP-20. The platform's incentive, rewards, and discounting systems are all powered by LFG. When LFG tokens are utilized as the base currency, Gamerse's native token provides a 50% reduction on all platform transaction costs. LFG token also serves as a governance token, allowing token holders to propose and vote on the platform changes.
Gamerse was founded by the CEO of the platform, Khaled Jama. Other members of his team include Chelsie Perez (CMO), Umberto Garozzo (interim CTO), Puja Doal (head of operations), etc.
