The token was not launched through an Initial Coin Offering (ICO), but rather, it was airdropped to existing users of the Rollbit platform. The supply of RLB is capped at 5 billion coins. The token is utilized as an entry ticket for the lottery, where holders have the opportunity to receive a portion of the casino's revenue. The prizes are derived from a revenue-sharing pool, where 20% of all the casino’s revenue on a daily basis accumulates over the course of each round. To participate in the lottery, RLB tokens must be staked in each round. Half of the 0.20% staking fee is burned, permanently removing it from the supply, which gradually results in a decrease in the number of tokens over time.
RLB functions as a utility token within the Rollbit platform. It is utilized as an entry ticket for the Rollbit lottery, where holders can receive a portion of the casino's revenue. To participate in the lottery, users must stake their RLB tokens. Each round of the lottery sees a portion of the staked RLB permanently removed from the supply, which aims to support the token's utility. The other half of the staking fees accrue to staked Rollbots, Rollbit's Non-Fungible Token (NFT) project. As more RLB is staked, this leads to a greater reduction in supply as a higher number of tokens are burned to enter the lottery.
The primary use case for RLB is as an entry ticket for the Rollbit lottery. By staking their RLB tokens, users can participate in the lottery and have the opportunity to receive a portion of the casino's revenue. Additionally, RLB tokens can be used to receive compensation by providing liquidity for RLB trading. The token also plays a role in Rollbit's 'Buy & Burn' program, where a portion of Rollbit's daily revenue from its Casino, Crypto Futures, and Sportsbook verticals is used to purchase and burn RLB, resulting in a decrease in the number of tokens over time.
