Cipher is a digital utility token whose aim is to develop a unified ecosystem business without conducting an initial coin offering (ICO) or initial exchange offering (IEO). According to its website, the transactions done using the token are efficient, transparent, and tradeable. Further, the platform seeks to minimize the risks of a volatile market, making it undulating and firm. The token was created on the backdrop of the ERC20 standard version operating on the Ethereum blockchain.
In addition, the platform has its own exchange, 'Cipher exchange,' which is based on the peer-to-peer (P2P) model and integrates all existing cryptocurrencies. The platform also offers a digital crypto wallet in which users can store the coins and carry out payment transactions. According to its whitepaper, the exchange is capable of handling multiple transactions at a fast pace, without any bugs. The exchange platform is also equipped with fault-finding techniques that can detect any discrepancies.
In addition, the platform provides an on-demand application for booking Electric cabs, called 'Cipher zap.' The app allows connecting a passenger with the nearest available driver, using the GPS coordinates of the user, the driver, and the servers as an aggregator for finding each other efficiently.
