These components work together to streamline development, protect user interests, and allow cross-chain operations without extensive manual input.
NEAR AI: Tools and infrastructure for launching agents that can handle digital assets, run smart contracts, and tap into data or services. These agents run privately using Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), and can operate across chains without manual steps.

Illia Polosukhin and Alexander Skidanov founded NEAR Protocol in 2018 with the goal to build a scalable, usable blockchain. Silver linings: crypto tech innovation keeps pace despite downmarket
NEAR Protocol has partnered with one of Latin America’s largest food companies for a blockchain-based loyalty program.
The Near Foundation announced a partnership with Grupo Nutresa for an open-source loyalty program that uses NEAR’s carbon-neutral blockchain. Grupo Nutresa, which sells products in 78 countries, will streamline its disparate collection of existing loyalty programs into a single one supported by NEAR wallet.
The new program is expected to launch early next year, with a goal of reaching one million users across Latin America.
