The team intends to introduce digital assets by enabling peer-to-peer connections on social media platforms.
Further, the platform aims to offer various products like Rapids Mobile Wallet for transactions, Rapid Host for multi-coin masternode hosting and smart pools, Raptic for accepting RPD payments and tips, Rapids NFTs with utilities related to the product family. In fact, a Masternode is a network node that provides additional services to achieve platform stability. Besides, the platform also intends to launch Rapid Dapps for its community to experience ‘Blockchain at Fingertips’ and earn rewards for staking, becoming validators/mediators, etc., on the application.
RPD is the native utility token.) that follows the standards of an ERC-20 token to empower the Rapids platform. Rapids has created RPDx on top of RPD to assist transactions without leaving the Rapids Blockchain. The platform implements PoS and PoW consensus for smooth functioning and easy verification for crosschain transactions.
The Rapids whitepaper was released in December of 2021. Matt Cimelli, Martijn Jansen, and Luke look after the smooth functioning of the platform. The platform aims to mint thirty million RPD tokens for trading and other purposes.
