XEND is the native token of the Xend Finance network. The Xend tokens are employed on the platform for rewarding users for trading, saving, and carrying out various activities on the network. The native blockchain of the platform charges the credit union a nominal gas fee to build a union on the smart contract, which is paid as XEND tokens. A proportion of the fee is utilized for trading back the tokens for adding liquidity to the Xend Finance protocol. Moreover, the platform’s governance is implemented by the token holders of XEND.

The mainnet launch of Xend Finance took place in 2021, with the public token sale taking place in the same year. Ugochukwu Aronu is the founder of Xend Finance and acts as the CEO of platform.
